The Board of Trustees is made up of seven trustees.  Election of Board members shall be at large.  General election of Board members shall be on the May uniform election date (The first Saturday in May).  The next School Board Trustee election will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Upshur County Court House, 2nd floor, 100 West Tyler, Gilmer, TX 75644.  The deadline to file a candidate application is February 18, 2022 at 5:00 pm.

Requirements and deadline for filing for candidacy for trustee:

 

          Wednesday, January 19, 2022 is the first day to file for a place on the ballot.

            Friday, February 18, 2022 is the last day to file for a place on the ballot.

            Tuesday, February 22, 2022 is the last day to declare as a write-in candidate.
